WarCollar Industries is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Developer to join our team in supporting mission-critical systems and applications.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in ServiceNow development, including hands-on experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow platform components such as Flow Designer, business rules, catalog items, and custom applications. This role involves both development and process improvement within a high-security, fast-paced environment.

Location: Herndon, VA
Employment Type: Full-Time (4 or more years’ experience)
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with FSP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize applications and services within the ServiceNow platform

  • Develop catalog items, workflows, and business rules using Flow Designer and scripting

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions

  • Maintain system performance by identifying and resolving issues proactively

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and system specifications

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and systems lifecycle management

  • Provide technical input to review boards, and support change and release management processes

  • Collaborate with IT teams and project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform

  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for customizing ServiceNow applications

  • Experience with Flow Designer, catalog items, UI policies, client/server scripts, and integration tools

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and document business processes

  • Experience in systems evaluation and performance monitoring

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer)

  • Familiarity with NIST, RMF, or other compliance frameworks

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
